And these kittens are still lucky because they just take the “prey” home, but they don’t eat it and don’t even cause a serious health problem.

Barry, the black and white kitten, represents the latter category. He collected hair bands, but consumed them. Not a little. Fifty pieces. That’s the amount that your organization couldn’t get started with. He was in extremely poor condition and was taken to a veterinarian. Then they saw what actually caused the problem. He had to have surgery, but that was the key to survival.
