Cats are considered criminals in Poland

In Australia, introduced cats have already caused so much damage to the native animal world that efforts are being made to curb it.

But unrestrained cat hunting is not only a problem in Australia. Because one of our favorite companion animals preys even when it is full. In other words, they do not only hunt for the sake of hunger and survival. From this it is already clear what the problem is.

The Polish Academy of Sciences, an organization working in the field of nature conservation, has declared the cat an invasive animal species.

Even though we love cats, they can cause enormous damage to the living world and these are facts. Therefore, the Poles classified them as criminals. Not everyone understands this. In addition to cat shelters, many local governments also work hard to help stray animals, they are essentially part of the ecosystem.

According to Polish rules, owners can only let their cats out with supervision or on a leash and muzzle.
