Cat-proof Christmas tree

The decoration of the Christmas tree still has a bit to do, but as a cat owner, it is worth thinking about the cat-proof pine tree.

The least problem is when our cat only lives outside. However, a walk-in cat or a cat already living in an apartment can enjoy the Christmas tree in the same household as us, but it is more of a playground for him.

Of course, you don't have to give up the living pine, but needles can easily get caught in the fur and soles of large-haired animals, so it is necessary to clean the area around the pine every day. Some cats may even eat the fallen leaves, which can cause a stomach ache.

We keep the Christmas tree in our home, in a clearly visible place. It is worth putting it on some sort of stand or pedestal. It is safest to fasten the pine tree to the ceiling (or something else), i.e. it is securely held from above and thus cannot fall over.

The decorations make the Christmas tree really interesting for cats. You have to be prepared for who will stab them, but if you stack them high enough on the tree, maybe the temptation is less. It is also worth wrapping the string of lights around the tree so that the animal cannot reach it.
