Almost 2 months in prison

Buying a house is usually a joyful moment, well it’s when they first enter it after receiving the key.

The new owners got access to the house in the Netherlands as part of an auction without being able to see it before. The property was closed. As soon as they received the keys, they wanted to find out what they had bought.

When they opened the door, they were greeted by something they weren’t very prepared for. A startled cat ran out by their feet.

The animal rights activists were notified because they knew, however, that the house had been closed for more than 50 days, meaning that since then he had spent that time locked in the house without any care. The veterinary examination also revealed what the unfortunate kitten ate during this time. In his hunger and despair, he tried to fill his drooping stomach with wallpaper. Probably one of them could only drip, he could quench his thirst with it.

The rescuers managed to capture the very skinny kitten who received the infusion and are looking for the former owner of the house who could have left the unfortunate kitten alone.
