We can rely on luck and confinement, but female kittens leaving the house will not work on demand. No matter how good a relationship we have with our kitten, instincts and hormones guide her to find a male for herself, so that she can later give birth to offspring.

This is also how male cats work, only the owners are less interested in this, since they do not bring home reproduction.

Well, if the female cat is away too much, we can rightly assume that she is in breeding season. How do we know that our cat is pregnant?

It should be known that the gestation period means at least 60 days. As in the case of man, at the beginning nothing is visible. The blessed state is only noticeable later, and this is also the case with kittens.

One sign could be when the firing stops. A very good (too much) appetite is also a telling sign. In fact, you may even experience nausea and morning sickness.

A much more visible sign is the growth of the belly, the swelling and discoloration of the nipples. At the same time, with the onset of the maternal instinct, our pregnant cat may seek our proximity much more. Moreover, as the calving time approaches, she will look for the right place where she can give birth to her little ones.
