Modern technology on many fronts serves mankind greatly. It is also much easier to observe animals.

Birds resting on Lake Neusiedl are easy to spot, but they don't know where they are going from there. For this reason Zsuzsanna, the bibic, received a transmitter on October 21. His tracing thus showed something he did not expect.

At the end of November he was still at Lake Neusiedl, and one day he left the area and flew all the way to Italy in one day.

This means that the little bird has covered seven hundred kilometers in one day. So Zsuzsanna decided to spend Christmas and winter elsewhere. They do not always leave our area because it depends on the weather and the amount of food.
