According to my own observations, it was not worth buying winter bird food this year, because there was no one to feed.

At first, I suspected our cat, that he was the main trigger, that the birds that had been visiting us until now would completely avoid us this year.

The second suspect is the mild winter. In other words, birds can find food in nature, so they do not need the support of a bird feeder at all.
