Vote for the bird of the year

Launched in 1979, the title “Bird of the Year” again has a choice of three bird species.

Through the program of the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Association, in 2021 it is possible to vote for three bird species that can be linked to agricultural areas.

Only one of them may be the bird of the year in 2021. Votes are expected from the public, which can be cast by noon on July 27, 2020.

The candidates for the bird of the year 2021 are the Gypsy Csuk, the Kis Őrgébics and the Sordély. Further details about the three candidates can be read on the website of the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Association, and a vote ( ITT ) can also take place.
