The swallows also got wings

We are expecting two migratory birds to return home in the spring. One is the stork and the other is the swallow.

As and when they come, they return to the same place in the fall. This is now. The grandmother of the storks had already embarked on a long journey. The swallows are visibly starting to gather from mid-August. We still see them, they are still here, but their grouping also suggests that they are preparing for the great journey. They are still trying to hook up many insects to “refuel” on the big road to Africa.

The swallows also set off. These fragile little birds fly during the day, but are forced over the Sahara and the Mediterranean even at night. The big one requires a lot of sacrifices. Good luck, swallows, we look forward to seeing you back!
