The gypsy girl became the winner

It’s only summer 2020, but we already know which species is the bird of the year in 2021.

A few days ago, we encouraged you to vote for the bird of the year on the side of the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Association. The three possible starters were the gypsy squirrel, the little guard squirrel, and the barn.

Keeping this order, it was decided which of the three species won the title of “Bird of the Year”. After the online vote closed, it turned out that their gypsy squad received 3,884 votes, which was enough to win first place. The little guard was not far behind either, but the 3382 votes meant second place. And with 2605 votes, the abyss finished in the vote.

Early voting is needed to prepare professionals for the production of printed and other materials.
