The geese beat the ice

Winter is still coming, but we are waiting for spring. However, there are days when we experience almost all of the four seasons. Not just us.

Recently, we have been experiencing thunderstorms nationwide and even across Europe that were unusual. Almost a summer-like lightning and thunderstorm had been received in the days with great winds, and before that the great wind had caused trouble in much of the country.

Not only humans experienced the power of nature, but also animals. In fact, some of them became victims.

Guardians of the Kiskunság National Park regretted that hundreds of birds had died due to violent storms. The victims were all wild geese and a total of 250 carcasses were found. The investigation found that most of them died from ice, while many died from lightning.
