Plastic nest

As good as the invention of plastic and the things made of it seemed, we are now polluting our planet so much.

Today, there is so much plastic waste that it can be found everywhere. Even where people don't walk. The nest of seabirds is also full of plastic rubbish and this has been supported by research around Scotland.

For some bird species, plastic is found to a much greater extent in nests than for other species. This may be due to the fact that each bird makes its nest differently. While there are birds that make new ones every year, there are some that renovate the old nest so that plastic waste can accumulate in their case as well.
