The world, and thus the domestic national parks, provide protection for the flora and fauna living there, but they are still in danger.
A high-risk stork was found in the Fertő-Hanság National Park. He suffered from so-called lake paralysis. They were just ringing birds in my area when they noticed the bird.
Botulism, ie the above-mentioned lake paralysis caused by the poison formed in oxygen-deficient lakes, has been identified at the Kőszeg Animal Hospital. Nerve gases are released into the air, which in birds act on the nervous system in such a way that it inhibits its function, which can stop breathing and paralyze the muscles. An animal suffering from botulism cannot move and therefore does not feed, which can lead to death.
The rescuers arrived just in time for the stork he found, because they could still help him. Once recovered, it will ring and you can go back to nature.
