We, too, are delighted to have a reunion with a dear acquaintance that hasn’t happened in years or decades.
Something like this also happened when a bird that had been seen for a very long time was seen in the area under the care of the Hortobágy National Park.
The last time a ferret was seen in Hungary was in 2015, but in 2014 a pelvis was observed only a few meters away. The bird enjoyed the company of spoonbills then and now.
The highly protected bald eagle is a rare bird species with a conservation value of half a million forints. This bird species is a resident of Central Asia, the Black Sea and the Balkans. The newborn was seen in the wetland near Berettyóújfalu.
