Striking differences can be observed between hens and males of many bird species.
The red cardinal finch is a bird of North America and Canada. The laying hens and males of the 21-23 centimeter bird are also significantly different. The plumage of the hen is brown but has a red beak and bob. The male is much more colorful than that. True to its name, it is red in color, all over its body, only its muzzle is black. His bobita and beak are also very red.
The gender tickets are therefore well distinguishable in this case. However, a photographer got something quite amazing on the lens. A cardinal finch that is male. This is known because one part of the body of the little bird is the male, while the other part bears the characteristics of a hen. It is likely that the photographed specimen also has a male, i.e., functional testis and ovaries.
