Dogs and cats are man’s most commonly kept pets. But it's not all that innocent.
Kittens are real killing machines. All their cartilage was grown to scout the prey. This is so true that a very well-kept animal hunts nonetheless. And with this habit, it can do a lot of damage to nature.
A long-standing problem in Australia is that cats that breed as an invasive species hunt native animals and literally exterminate them. However, this has already become a serious problem in Germany. In a German city, the woodpeckers need protection. They are trying to do all this by declaring a cat short. The forced rest period for cat hunting was extended until the end of August. This bird species nests on the ground, so its eggs and chicks are all easy prey for mini hunters.
Cat owners do not agree with this regulation. There are no special problems with the animals living in the apartment, they don't even feel the short circuit, but what about the kittens going out?
