Life is not only unpredictable, but it treats some pretty hard. The life of storks is about constant migration that carries danger.
But there are freshmen whose steep beginnings are quite steep. This was the case of a chick that had already lost one of its parents before it hatched from the egg. The other parent of the half-orphan freshman was responsible for all, but the bird left alone could not raise the hatching hatching egg, so the experts of the Hortobágy Bird Hospital rushed to his aid. They first surveyed the terrain and situation with a drone, then decided to take the eggs out of the nest and hatch them artificially.
Rather, they looked for a surrogate mother for the freshman egg and placed the egg under a peacock. The hen accepted the egg. Unfortunately, the joy didn’t last too long, as a dog ended up with her surrogate mother, leaving the little stork orphaned.
They were looking for another mom for him, this time in the person of a turkey, during which the little stork successfully hatched and then became a breeder. Since then, he has been raised at the Hortobágy Bird Hospital together with his freshman breeders, and if all goes well, he can be part of the migration to Africa.
